HAPPY FRIDAY! Black Friday is almost here! Are you excited? Our office is very busy gearing up for the special day and finding you the best deals out there. Between getting all the food ready for Thanksgiving and preparing for a house full of people, be sure to take a break and check out our website for new and exciting offers that will be posted daily! As always, have a fantastic and safe weekend! Also enjoy your Thanksgiving holiday, however you are celebrating it! We can’t wait to hear about all of your Black Friday savings next week.

Buying new conditioner and leave in sprays can be exhausting and costly, especially when you are only using the product every once and a while to tackle a problem you are having, in this case dry hair. Mayo definitely does its job. All you have to do is massage it into your hair and scalp and cover it with a shower cap. Leave it on for about 20 minutes, and then wash it out with your shampoo. You will be left with softer hair and barely have spent any money! Check out the directions here: Naturally Curly.

Shopping during the holidays gets stressful and tiring. Save yourself some of the aggravation and compare the prices of the products you want at different stores before buying anything. You can either look online or check out the circulars they send out. This way you can be prepared with exactly what you want and how much you want to pay. It is easy to get overwhelmed by all the shoppers, so being prepared will make for a more relaxing and happier holiday.

One of the BEST dishes of Thanksgiving is mashed potatoes, so you are probably going to have a decent amount of potatoes sitting around the house the next few days (or weeks if you misjudge the guest list), and apples because they are a staple for the fall. Store the two together to keep those pesky potatoes from sprouting too early. Lifehacker explains that the gas produced from apples does the trick. Be careful though not to store your apples with other fruit because they will cause them to ripen more quickly!

How often do you find yourself overspending when you can just swipe your card? I know that I am much more willing to push my budget when I don’t have to hand over the physical cash. This holiday season, try making a budget and only using the cash that you bring with you. Not only will you have a better idea of what you are spending, but you will also make better purchasing decisions because you really have to think about what you are buying.

Before you go out to do your food shopping, check out what you have been storing up in your pantry or basement all year. Maybe you will already have those little ingredients that will complete the meal and save you a trip to the store. It is amazing how much we forgot what we buy until we take the time to look. Check out this SheKnows: Purge That Pantry, for some tips on how to clean and re-organize. In addition to saving you some money, you will be going into the holiday more refreshed!
