Budget Bubble Bath

Whether you are a man or woman, nothing helps take the edge off after a long day of work like a hot, soothing bath. All of us deserve a little spa treatment every now and then, but even turning your own bathtub into an afternoon oasis can start to add up. So, how do you melt away your worries without dumping your dollars down the drain? Here are a few tips to help.

Lights Out

The goal here is to relax away your troubles, and that isn’t going to happen if the lights are on. Use a couple candles to set the atmosphere and create a relaxing aroma. Even better, look at our tip jar for easy instructions on how to make your own candles and save a couple extra dollars.

Bubble Up

Bubbles are an essential part of any relaxing home spa experience. But did you know that bubble bath is the same thing as shower gel? Seriously, some shower gels even have it printed on the bottle. So don’t waste your money buying bubble bath, just pour a little shower gel under the faucet while the bath is being drawn and the flow of the hot water will take care of the rest.

These are just a few tips so that you don’t have to stress about how much your relaxing bubble bath is actually costing you. If you have more tips, feel free to leave them in a comment. We would love to hear from you!
