Gizmo Savings Guide

Use Gizmo for Free

Gizmo’s app is free to use, so you can start learning without subscribing. Free use includes creating decks with Magic Import, although waiting periods may apply between imports and after losing lives while quizzing.

Check for the Student Discount

When signing up for Gizmo Unlimited, eligible students may see a Student discount toggle during checkout. If the option appears, select it before completing your subscription.

Choose the Plan That Fits Your Needs

• The yearly plan provides access for 365 days after an upfront payment.
• The weekly plan renews every seven days and may suit short-term study needs.
• Review the prices shown for your device and region before purchasing.

Prevent Unwanted Renewals

Gizmo Unlimited subscriptions renew automatically. Cancel the renewal before the next billing period if you no longer need the subscription.

• Website subscriptions can be managed through the Manage Subscription option in Settings.
• Apple subscriptions are managed through your Apple device’s subscription settings.
• Android subscriptions are managed through the Google Play Store subscription settings.

Remember That Deleting Your Account Does Not Cancel Billing

Deleting your Gizmo account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Cancel the subscription separately before deleting your account to avoid future charges.

Request a Refund Promptly When Appropriate

If you mistakenly signed up for or renewed a paid Gizmo subscription, contact Gizmo within 48 hours of the initial subscription or renewal to request a full refund.

Make the Most of the Free App

• Create study decks with Magic Import while accepting the applicable waiting period.
• Plan quiz sessions so you can continue studying without unnecessarily waiting after losing lives.
• Use the free experience to decide whether an Unlimited subscription is worthwhile for your study routine.

Review Your Billing Details

Before subscribing, confirm the plan, price, renewal schedule, and payment platform. Gizmo displays pricing based on your device and region, and subscriptions may be billed through the Gizmo website, Apple, or Google.
