Summer Savings On Summer Fashions We Love

It’s nearing many people’s favorite time of the year -- summer! While we may be wearing fewer, briefer layers, ironically, we want to shop for more of them. Bikinis, rompers, miniskirts, and little sundresses? Yes, please, and in every color of the rainbow.

Here are a few of the best stops for summer style:

Alternative Apparel: Alternative Apparel is one of my favorite places to shop, admittedly more like year-round than simply come summer! The shop stocks plenty of sustainable brands in trendy shapes, including joggers, tees with shaped hems, and plenty of comfortable hoodies, and the brands are numerous. I also find them affordable, and the site easy to browse.

Icing: First of all, I love Icing’s tagline, “Naked without icing: see what you’re missing.” It’s so clever. It’s also very young and hip, so if you’re the type who loves Forever 21 but hates seeing it worn on everyone else in the room, I recommend checking out Icing. The trends that were featured on the “Trend We Love” page were just adorable: bandana chokers, glitter phone cases, pompoms, nail jewelry, and initial necklaces. A must-visit!

Sammy Dress: I have discovered so many brands and shops at PromoCodes.com, which is another reason why just browsing without an intended destination can really work. Case in point: this fun site has pieces that start at $1.99. I was shocked that deals could get that low, and I think you should check it out. I ended up buying a blouse in white lace for $1.57, and there’s a lot more where that came from!

Glasses.com: Did you know that sunglasses get old over time and need replacing? It turns out that the UV protection wears out, so we need to switch it up and get the lenses (or the whole works) replaced. Glasses.com has some great deals, as well as some smart shapes, that keep you current and that keep your eyes safe. You can even get free standard lenses in any pair of frames over $160. Wow!

Target: A must-list. Target cleverly combines basics with designer collaborations and an impressive reputation, and when it comes to summer? It’s on. A quick flip through the site revealed BOGO 50% off dresses, striped frocks and tops, and really tempting maxis. I have cut myself off, however, after struggling to cram them into my closet these days. It’s a shame, with the likes of a fitted, fun maxi catching my eye!

Tilly’s: I haven’t shopped here in a while, and from the looks of the site today, it’s worth a revisit. There’s a lot of cool stuff like Fila and Adidas, and then the usual suspects like gold and black chokers, sneakers, floral rompers, and other cute pieces.

Have you started a summer shopping list already? Already at max capacity like me? Either way, Happy Shopping!
