Spring break and summer are just around the corner, which means if you’re looking for a summer bod, now is the time to get started. We’ve reviewed some of our favorite apps for finding effective, free workouts you can do right from home.

Pinterest

Pinterest is actually a great place to start; they have tons of info on free workouts targeted for specific areas, cardio, and more, and they’re all free. Pinterest is perfect if you’re already an avid gym-goer and don’t need a lot of guidance; you can find awesome stuff to add on to your workouts.

Daily Yoga

Daily Yoga offers guided classes on meditation, pilates, yoga sequences, and more, all available right from your phone. If you’re an experienced yogi looking to workout from home or a newbie looking for some guidance, Daily Yoga could be just what you’re looking for.

500 Bodyweight challenge

Sometimes figuring out what to do with the gym equipment and weights can be the biggest obstacle to starting a workout regimen; with this app, you only need your body to get started. No weights and no equipment means that these guided workouts are perfect if you’re on a budget or traveling a lot. There’s also a built-in timer, so you can time your workouts once you learn them.

30-day squat challenge

It’s all in the name--this app has progressive squat-based workouts you can do every day of the month, starting out small and getting harder as the month goes on. They also have a series of other apps, for abs, arms, legs, and more, so you can get a full body workout with leaving the comfort of your home.

JEFIT workout tracker

This app is perfect for heavy weight lifting enthusiasts who want to keep track of their progress. You can add workouts and weight amounts to the log, as well as learn new workouts and techniques from professional trainers. The info you add can be export as graphs and charts, so if you’re interested in the data, this is the app for you.
