That, friends, is a BAD plan. Instead, give yourself a firm budget, stick to it, and keep your eyes on the prize. Now, if you’re prone to lack self-control, then give yourself a little bit of wiggle room for that shiny sparkly thing that catches your eye. Treat yourself every once in a while, and it won’t always feel like such a daunting chore to rein in your add-to-cart addictions.
