A Case of the Cyber Mondays: Go Online and Spend Less

Either you’re invigorated from Black Friday, totally exhausted, or broke. Scratch that. We know you’re not broke because you read this blog and you’re saving all kinds of dough! Bravo to you because that well-managed cash will go splendidly with Cyber Monday. Not a Monday person? You might change your tune when you hear the heavenly sounds of great deals!

Like any other big event, it’s always good to go in with a plan. And by that, we mean a smart plan. For instance, max out your credit card then quit your job in two days? That, friends, is a BAD plan. Instead, give yourself a firm budget, stick to it, and keep your eyes on the prize. Now, if you’re prone to lack self-control, then give yourself a little bit of wiggle room for that shiny sparkly thing that catches your eye. Treat yourself every once in a while, and it won’t always feel like such a daunting chore to rein in your add-to-cart addictions.

But First. What Are Your Favorite Shops?

What stores always make you drool over any dreamy whatchamacallit that comes your way? If you need stuff for your house, your car, or your (ahem) overflowing closet, write down all the places you love to browse. Once you know where you like to go, then check and see what their plans are for Cyber Monday. If they match up with your goals, then it’s a date!

Secondly, Who’s On Your Nice List?

So we know all of your friends and family have a few gifts each but think of others you may have missed. Who else makes you smile, encourages you, and shows up when you need a little TLC? Those are the exact people you want to have on your Cyber Monday shopping extravaganza list. Now, write down their favorite stores. If you don’t know their favorite stores, then they should probably question how much you love them. Kidding! Go ahead, think about their personality, hobbies, and things that make them laugh. That’ll lead you to Cyber Monday victory.

Third Time’s the Charm

So we’ve given you a lot of advice, but you’re probably wondering what are our top websites?

Amazon definitely ranks high on the list for all kinds of goodies. If you’re not a Prime member, Cyber Monday is the perfect cheapie’s chance to experience their free 30-day trial. That means, for a whole month, you’ll get free 2-day shipping. Load up your cart with what you need, and enjoy the beginning of a beautiful, fulfilling, and once-in-a-lifetime relationship.

We’re also kinda crazy about Walgreens. Like Amazon, they thrive on making things easy and fun. Walgreens promotes a lot of specials, and if you haven’t checked them out in a while, they have some CUTE stuff. They’re on our nice list for fabulous stocking stuffers for the whole fam, including the granddogs.

We hope these tips save you time and money, and give you a little escape from humdrum Monday. Because, remember, it’s CYBER Monday and we all deserve a jolly good day.
