Happy Weekend Everyone! We hope that you all had a great week! Here in the office we successfully finished our Mother’s Day Giveaway and had an amazing turnout! Hopefully those of you who won will be receiving your prizes within the next week. If you did not win, check out our site for more amazing deals to make this Mother’s Day one of the best yet. If you aren’t celebrating Mother’s Day, we still hope that you have a wonderful weekend and are able to try something new! Maybe explore a new part of town or try a craft you have pinned on Pinterest! You don’t need to spend any money to have the best weekend ever.

One of the best parts of the warmer weather is finally being able to sit by a bonfire or fire pit again and enjoy the beautiful weather. If you are a big fan of S’mores, use Peeps instead of buying new marshmallows. Not only are they delicious, but they are also really cute! Even better, since Peeps are a fan favorite during Easter season, you can buy them at your local store right now on sale. Saving money and trying something new is the best way to go!

Razors are expensive these days and it seems they you go through them faster and faster each time you buy them. Well we have a trick that hopefully will extend the life of your razors even by a little bit! Next time you find your razor to be getting a little dull, grab a pair of jeans and run the razor away from you the whole length of your jean about 10-20 times. You don’t have to press too hard to get your desired results, and you will bring the life back into your razor!

Having a dead cell phone battery is never fun, especially when you have no idea why it died and no way to charge it back up. Yes the more time that you spend talking on your phone and using the data, the more quickly your battery is going to drain, but there are also other hidden factors that are doing the damage. If you have an iPhone, check your Background App Refresh and see how it is set. If it is on, then your phone is constantly working at updating all of your information, therefore constantly running. Select which apps you want to automatically refresh and turn off the rest.

We always think about conditioning our hair and our skin, but how often do you think about your eyelashes? Using Vaseline as a nightly conditioner is said to help them grow fuller and stronger. All you have to do is take a clean eyelash brush or a Q-tip and brush upwards to coat your lashes. It is a nice way to treat them after piling on liner and mascara every day, which could make them brittle. This is inexpensive and works really well! Put it on at night and then just wash your face in the morning.

The weather is nicer and spring-cleaning is in full swing, so you have probably considered painting in one way or the other. Instead of buying new brushes because your other ones are covered in paint, soak your old ones in hot vinegar. This should not only soften the bristles, but it should also remove the paint. Once you have soaked them for 30 minutes, wash them in soapy water and use a rag to remove the excess paint. Rinse the brushes and then leave them to dry before you start painting. There is no need to purchase new brushes when you already have some!

Again have a fantastic weekend savvy savers!
