TGIF! We hope you savvy savers had a fantastic week and hopefully have some fun weekend plans! With the weather being so warm this past week in LA, Spring Fever is starting to settle in nicely, and daydreams of spring shopping and summer traveling are getting stronger. Luckily with all of the amazing deals that we have, these dreams can come true! Be sure to stay connected with us to make sure you are getting the best deals this season!

Now that the weather is getting nicer, it is time to pull out those walking shoes, bikes, and buses passes and leave your car behind. Using public transportation or eco-friendly transportation will not only keep the environment clean, but also it will save you gas money and car maintenance. It may be faster to drive your car, but your health and wallet will thank you!

Many of us use our makeup and our makeup brushes every single day, but how often do we clean those brushes? I know that I myself probably only clean my brushes every couple of months…very gross. With this simple brush cleaner, you will have no excuse not to wash them. Just grab 1 tablespoon of dish soap, 1 tablespoon of white vinegar and mix it all together in a cup of warm water. Swirl your brushes around in the mixture and the makeup should fall right off! Rinse the brushes off with water leave them to dry.

If you are in a bind and stuck with a wrinkly shirt, throw it in the dryer with some ice cubes. This will give it a quick steam press and save you a trip to the drycleaners. Hand-washing your clothing or doing your own laundry can save you so much money at the end of the month. There are definitely some clothing items that have to be professionally washed, but do your research ahead of time.

Spring is coming and that means only one thing: gardening. If you are a gardener than you know that nothing ruins your hard work more than weeds. Well we have an all-natural solution for you! Just mix together ½ gallon of Apple Cider Vinegar, ¼ cup of table salt, and ½ teaspoon of Dawn liquid dish soap in a spray bottle. Shake the spray bottle up and apply to your weeds. This should strip the weeds down and kill them.

We know that shopping in season is exciting, but it also means that the items you want to buy are at their most expensive. Try getting your heavy winter jackets in the summer and your shorts in the winter. You will snag the best deals and be ready for the new season ahead of you! So start stocking up on your winter essentials now as all of the spring gear starts rolling out throughout the stores.

Have a wonderful weekend!
